Start will be from "Alan's garage," i.e., the check-in location.
Park at the Historic Morrisville Church (part of the Morrisville Park District).
It is a 0.1-mile downslope coast from the parking lot to the check-in.
Event fee: $5 (exact cash, please).
Honoring "Fearless Leader" Emeritus RBA Alan's 81st birthday by riding Alan's traditional Populaire from Morrisville, visiting "Clyde's Curious Critters" in Bynum, transiting Pittsboro, Moncure, Wilsonville, and returning to Morrisville. [Note that the Roadside America article in that immediately previous link was written rather a long time ago (the article refers to US-15/501 in the process of being widened, and I can't recall ever seeing that highway in that area being only a two lane highway -- and I first came to NC in Spring 1985). Clyde's place isn't as snazzy as it once was, and someone has made off with one of the "Critter Crossing" signs, but the one block detour to ride by Clyde's for an Info/Photo control is still worth it.]
Following the ride, there will be a gathering and "burger burning" at "Al's Cafe" and patio.
