Welcome to the Randonneurs USA (RUSA) Raleigh Region website.
We are the third oldest Region in the United States, dating from 1983 (i.e., our Region pre-dates RUSA [the current USA umbrella organization / sanctioning body] by fifteen years).
Randonneuring is long-distance unsupported endurance cycling. This style of riding is non-competitive in nature, and self-sufficiency is paramount. Friendly camaraderie, not competition, is the hallmark of randonneuring.
Currently scheduled events:
To ride in these events: - you must be a current RUSA member,
- you must sign and turn-in the waiver before the ride,
- you must pay the event entry fee before the ride.
